I am honored to welcome you to the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas state website. As you navigate our pages, you will find information about us, our programs, events, and a variety of other resources intended to help you, whether you are an existing or incoming member. You will also find links to our regional chambers for specific services and contact information of members in the region/s of your choice. We have dedicated teams throughout our state who are passionate about service.
While we traverse this new environment wrought by COVID19, we are painfully aware that established behaviors must give way to the new, that we must use technology to our advantage, and that we need to have better appreciation of how our individual strengths make for a stronger whole. I have kept these lessons in mind when I took the helm of this chamber at the beginning of the year, fully aware that I have been blessed with a chamber family passionate about service to our members and our Filipino community. I am humbled by a legacy of accomplishments from past presidents Ethel Mercado and Gary Ilagan. They have paved the way for us to successfully hurdle multiple challenges since our inception in 2009, and so we must keep going and thriving.
I quote Barbara Mikulski, “Each of us can make a difference, together we make change.” And so, together, we strive to make a difference toward positive change. We hope you continue to join us in this journey.
