A community leader. Volunteered as San Antonio SCORE mentor and Vice Chair for several years for start-up business owners. One of the impetus for passing Public Law 114-265 in 2016 to recognize World War II Filipino and American Veterans who served under United States Army Forces in the Pacific, for United States Congressional Gold Medal Award. Serves as Deputy Director for Region 7 (TX, OK, LA, NM and AR) for the Filipino Veterans Recognition & Education Project—a non-profit organization–committed to recognizing eligible WW II Filipino and American Veterans for the Congressional Gold Medal. Retired U.S. Air Force Colonel with 34+ years of distinguished service in logistics field.
