Our solution is to create a community-based nationwide network of FAPCOR nayon (villages) to engage FAs in their healthcare. The network will provide the infrastructure for engaging FAs and other key community stakeholders to address the specific needs of FAs to make informed healthcare decisions as well as engage in patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) and comparative effectiveness research (CER) to promote patient outcomes.

PACCTX Journal – March 2022
Kamusta po? Does it feel like 2022 is moving at a much faster pace than prior years? It is already MARCH, the last month of the first quarter of this blessed year. Notwithstanding doomsayers’ “Ides of March”, too many celebrations still happen this month, including Mardi Gras, National Peanut Butter Day, and Absinthe Day! But what we commonly celebrate worldwide is our focus: International Women’s History Month. For us chamber folks, it is acknowledging that greater gender equality boosts economic growth and leads to better development outcomes. There truly are concrete, measurable economic outcomes to women empowerment!
Our teams at PACC Texas have put together a fully virtual conference themed, “Celebrating Women, Inspiring Change”. This will take place next week and we are ably supported by phenomenal women speakers, organizers, volunteers … doers dedicated to lifting the lives of women by their work and as role models.
Let’s start with an announcement that we have extended nominations for major awards to be given to Fil-Am women in Texas during our conference: Outstanding Entrepreneur, Outstanding Professional, Outstanding Humanitarian. We will also acknowledge “Excellence in Women Advocacy” for the company that has supported women within their organization as well as their community. A consolidated graphic with links to the nomination process is included in this newsletter.
And then, let’s register for the event at bit.ly/CWIC2022Registration. Reserve your seat, join the conversations, and be entertained by Marcelito Pomoy as he pays tribute to all of us with his twin voices.
To learn more about our event, visit our website at https://pacctexas.org. I am very excited to see you on Saturday, March 12th at 9:00 am CST.
In the meantime, read along to learn more about who we are and what we are up to at PACC Texas!
